Day 31: Stealth Site to War Spur Shelter (27.8 miles)

June 12, 2004 - Not much happened today. Had a great night’s sleep and got hiking. 27.8 miles and I was hoping for another 5.8 to the next shelter but I was hearing thunder while making dinner so I decided to stay put. I met 2 nice Christian guys today. They were asking me about my faith and wanted to do some Bible reading with me. I didn’t have much time so they read a verse and I was on my way. Its almost bedtime, I may have to pitch my tent here at the shelter because of the bugs.
